Fire and Rescue Calls: Response log includes fire alarms, mutual aid, illegal fires and more

FRIDAY JUNE 21

• 5:01 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a fire alarm in the 500 block of Cedar Place.

• 12:01 p.m. — Emergency medical personnel responded to a crash in the 6200 block of Southwest Philomath Boulevard in Corvallis. The Philomath engine was canceled; Fire Chief Chancy Ferguson assisted with traffic control.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to a call at 5:17 p.m. (Main Street).

SATURDAY JUNE 22

• No calls of public importance reported.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to a call at 9:23 p.m. (Applegate Street).

SUNDAY JUNE 23

• No calls of public importance reported.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 12:28 a.m. (South 20th Street), 3:41 a.m. (Pioneer Street), 6:29 p.m. (Main Street) and 7:43 p.m. (Highway 34).

MONDAY JUNE 24

• 11:15 a.m. — Firefighters provided mutual aid on a call in the 200 block of Southwest Pleasant Place in Corvallis.

• 5:42 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a call about a commercial structure fire in the 26100 block of Highway 99W north of Monroe. The call was canceled en route as no fire was discovered.

• 7:23 p.m. — Firefighters responded to an illegal burning in the 24400 block of Bridge Court.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 1:06 a.m. (Rosecrest Drive), 3:12 a.m. (North 13th Street), 1:03 p.m. (South 15th Street) and 10:47 p.m. (South 18th Street).

TUESDAY JUNE 25

• 5:29 p.m. — Philomath Fire and Rescue responded to a request from the Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Incident Management Team, with Deputy Fire Chief Rich Saalsaa deployed to the Darlene 3 fire near La Pine as the public information officer. See separate story.

WEDNESDAY JUNE 26

• 6:21 p.m. — Firefighters provided mutual aid to the Corvallis Fire Department with coverage from Station 1 at 400 NW Harrison Blvd., Corvallis.

Other calls: Emergency Medical Services responded to calls at 2:24 p.m. (Jade Place) and 4:32 p.m. (College Street).

THURSDAY JUNE 27

• No public interest appeals have been reported.

Other calls: Emergency Medical Services responded to calls at 6:43 a.m. (North 17th Street) and 7:24 a.m. (Horse Farm Lane).
