Find Ways to Celebrate Independence Day Near You – The Land

Independence Day will be celebrated on Thursday, July 4 this year. If you're looking for a chance to get out and enjoy the holidays, we've put together a list of some events happening in Cleveland and surrounding communities.

Some upcoming events:

  • Light Up the Lake – July 4 – Fireworks will begin at sunset and last approximately 20 minutes, according to Downtown Cleveland. Fireworks will be visible from locations like Gordon Park, Edgewater Park, the Flats, Voinovich Bicentennial Park, Kirtland Park, and more.
  • Goodtime III Fireworks Cruise – July 4 – Family Cruise runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on July 4.
  • Lakewood Fourth of July Parade and Celebration – The town's annual parade celebration begins at 10 a.m. and the festivities continue until the fireworks display around 9:45 p.m. at Lakewood Park.
  • Parma Fourth of July Parade Celebration – The annual Parma Fourth of July parade will take place from 10 a.m. to noon, according to the city's police department page.
  • Cleveland Guardians vs. White Sox – July 2-5 – The Cleveland Guardians will host a fireworks display on July 3, following the conclusion of the team's game against the visiting Chicago White Sox. The team will host fireworks again on July 5 when they take on the San Francisco Giants.
