Fatal Bronx stabbing under investigation

BRONX, NY — In the early hours of Wednesday, a stabbing outside 945 Underhill Avenue resulted in the death of an unidentified man. The incident, which occurred in the 43rd block of the Bronx, prompted a quick response from police following a 911 call around 2:39 a.m.

When they arrived, the police discovered that the victim was suffering from a stab wound to the chest. EMS quickly transported him to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced dead.

So far, no arrests have been made in connection with this attack. The investigation continues and police are working to determine the circumstances that led to this act of violence. The identity of the deceased remains confidential, pending notification of family.
