Family of missing Hot Spring County man still searching, hoping to help other families with missing loved ones | KLRT

HOT SPRING COUNTY, Ark. – The family of a Hot Spring County man missing for four months is hoping to help other families like them in the search for their loved one.

According to the Hot Spring County Sheriff's Office, 32-year-old Clayton Reed has been missing since January 19. Authorities said he was last seen on the westbound train tracks toward Malvern.

“I've imagined every possible scenario, good, bad and ugly, and it's torturous not knowing what happened to him, and the thought of seeing him alone there is heartbreaking,” the mother said. by Clayton, Robin Tolleson.

Tolleson said Reed was going through some things, but she thinks he would never deliberately leave his family.

“He was physically and mentally ill,” she said.

Reed's aunt, Michelle Clifton, and her family hope to create an organization and initiatives to help resolve the issues they have encountered over the past four months.

“A lot of people we talk to don't know what resources they can turn to. I'm amazed at how hard we've had to look to find resources,” Clifton said.
They are still in the planning stages of starting an organization, but they hope to make it easier for families to find resources to help them reunite with their loved ones.

“Because we know how hard it is for us,” Clifton said.

“I want to do what I can to help people find their missing family members, alive or dead,” Tolleson said. “I don’t want other families to go through this.”

HSCSO officials said there are no new updates on the investigation into Reed's disappearance. Anyone with information is asked to go to the Hot Spring County Sheriff's Office.
