Family of missing 19-year-old Winston-Salem man holds prayer meeting as search continues

They were trying to stop that night. OFFICERS lost sight of the car but found it abandoned a short time later at Grant Park Quarry. Family and friends of a missing Winston-Salem man share memories and stories, as the desperate search for him continues. Kaedain Allen, 19, has been missing for nine days as investigators continue to look into Grant Park's career. The place where Allen was last seen. On Sunday, family and friends gathered to pray. “There’s a lot of prayer in the family right now,” cousin Courtney Barmore said. “We are not giving up hope. We thought it was necessary to bring a little peace, to bring some a little joy and increase hope and awareness that Kaedain is still out there, and we let's wait for him to come home. Courtney says his passing has been devastating to their family and friends, and they all miss a man who she said brought a lot of love to the people he was close to. “Every time we saw Kaedain, he would give us a hug,” she said. “That hug never went away. Even as I got older. That hug, that smile was one that only Kaedain could give.” More than anything, they want their son, grandson, uncle, father, cousin and friend to come home. “Kaedain, if you can hear us, if you can see us, we’re not giving up,” Courtney said. “We're going to keep looking.
