Family 'deeply concerned' for welfare of missing Hamilton teen

The public's help is being sought to help locate a missing 17-year-old from Hamilton.

Matthew Medeiros was last seen in the area of ​​Birch Avenue and Princess Street.

“Investigators and his family are deeply concerned for his well-being,” said Hamilton police, who are actively searching for Medeiros.

The teen is described as a white man, five feet five inches tall and of slim build. He has curly dark brown hair and wears braces.

He wore a black sweater with “North Western” written in white letters on both sleeves and a black toque. He also has earrings in both ears and could be on a black bike with blue trim.

“Any assistance from the public is greatly appreciated as we continue our efforts to locate him,” police added.
