“Extremely suspicious”: Vancouver teenager missing

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — In what Vancouver police described as “an extremely suspicious incident,” a search is underway for a missing 16-year-old last seen Tuesday at the Vancouver Mall .

The teen — biologically male and named Honor — identifies as female and goes by the name Crystal. Shortly before 1 p.m., Crystal's cell phone was found “discarded” just outside the mall, police said.


Crystal is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds, with shoulder-length reddish-brown hair and possibly wearing diamond earrings. She is extremely shy and is not comfortable talking with strangers. Officials said Crystal was wearing glasses, a light pink hoodie with the words “My pronouns are she/they” in purple letters, white/blue cotton “jogger” type pants and black and blue sandals. Crystal has shoulder-length reddish-brown hair and probably also wears diamond earrings.

Vancouver police said it was “an extremely suspicious incident and is currently being investigated with high priority and all available resources.”

Anyone with information is asked to call VPD as soon as possible.
