Russia has not abandoned its intentions to reach the borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Therefore, brutal fighting could take place in the east during the summer.

This was stated by Oleksandr Kovalenko, military-political analyst of the “Information Resistance” group, in a comment to “RBC-Ukraine”.

According to him, simultaneous combat operations could take place in two or even three directions to the east during the summer. The occupiers will try to advance their plan to occupy Donbass.

“It will be the Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk directions at the same time. It is quite possible that we will soon hear about the Toretsk direction as well. These localities will be the scene of the fiercest fighting,” Kovalenko said.
