Ex-WWE 2 star Cold Scorpio arrested after stabbing incident

Former Wrestling 2 star Cold Scorpio was arrested on June 15 for allegedly stabbing a man during a fight at a gas station. That said, Scorpio claims he acted in self-defense.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, the altercation took place around 3:40 a.m. at a Love's Travel Stop in Kansas City, Missouri. Authorities report that 2 Cold Scorpio, real name Charles Scaggs, was working as a security guard at the time. Scaggs noticed a man lighting a cigarette inside the store.

The victim, however, told TMZ Sports that he did not intentionally light the cigarette inside. He thought it had been turned off before entering the building, but admitted it may not have been completely turned off.

Scaggs claimed that when he told the man he could not smoke inside, the man became angry and responded aggressively, saying: “F you.” What are you going to do ?

Scaggs reported that the man then threatened him and that when they finally exited the store, the man allegedly tried to grab him. During the ensuing struggle, Scaggs told authorities he pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed the man in self-defense. He said the altercation continued for several moments, during which he delivered a few more blows.

Police said they found the man stabbed on the ground with multiple wounds to his head, chest, buttocks, legs and abdomen. He was transported to a local hospital where he was described as being conscious, then unconscious. Investigators then spoke to the injured man at the hospital, where he claimed it was Scaggs who initiated the confrontation.

Following the incident, Scaggs was arrested and charged with two felonies: first-degree assault and armed criminal action. He pleaded not guilty after posting bond and is due in court for a hearing on the case next month. We'll have to wait and see what happens to the former WWE Superstar in the end.
