Eve Vanguard receives a massive update with new map and weapon mechanics

If Eve Online's massive space battles aren't your thing, but you're still fascinated by the story of the 21-year-old game, then the sci-fi FPS Eve Avant-garde could be the perfect entry point for you. It takes place in the same universe, but is much more grounded, putting you in the shoes of a warclone sent to conquer planets by fighting on their surfaces. It's still in the early stages of development, but it's getting a massive update that adds a new map and an adaptive weapon system.

Eve Vanguard's weapon upgrades will allow you to adjust your weapons to best suit your playstyle. You'll find different chipsets scattered throughout the maps and can mix and match them to switch between the different modes that you play. they activate.

You can test these mechanics on the FPS game's new map, a beautiful and breathtaking planetary world. It contains “an archipelago with the wreckage of a spaceship, otherworldly flora and polluted waters”, so be prepared for anything.

The Solstice event will also be present in the game. It runs from today, Thursday, June 20, until Monday, July 1. During this 11 day period, you will be able to play the game 24/7, so stay stuck. The event features new objectives to complete during matches, such as “locate, defend and loot secure recovery sites as well as complete mining rights in which you summon and operate powerful mining vehicles while taking on other squads” .
