Evacuation warnings in place for 750-acre Junes Fire | News

PALERMO, California. 5:36 PM UPDATE -The Butte County Sheriff's Office has issued evacuation orders and warnings south and east of Junes Way due to the 750-acre Junes Fire.

These areas have been downgraded from evacuation warnings to orders:

  • BUT-907 A
  • BUT-HON-906: Cox Lane just east of Pops Lane, east of North Honcut Creek and south of the south end of Nora Way, south to the south end of La Loma Way
  • BUT-HON-905: intersection of Avacado and Dunstone, south of Ramirez to the county line and North Honcut Creek, east to east end of Blue Oaks Road, roads included: West Bangor Park , Getta, Teddy, Hammett, West La Porte, Fawn Court and Loma Rica Highway

These evacuation warnings have been lifted:

  • BUT-BR-922: Avacado Road near the west end of Orange Avenue, east of Oroville Bangor Highway and north of Avacado Road, south of Orange Avenue
  • BUT-BR-924: west of Humingbird Hill Road, east to four corners of Bangor and north of Sunrise Hill Road, south to south of Diablo View Road, including Wayne Charles Way
  • BUT-BR-925: La Porte Road west of Kings Ranch Road, east to the east end of Earl Parker Qurry Road and all four corners of Bangor, south to the county line from Butte/Yuba

The following evacuation orders have been lifted:

Crews are on the scene of a 50-person vegetation fire in the Palermo area Saturday, CAL FIRE Butte County said.

The fire is burning in the area of ​​Four Junes Way and Palermo Honcut Highway and is spreading at a dangerous rate.

Two structures are now involved in the fire, CAL FIRE Butte County said.

CAL FIRE named the incident the Junes Fire.
