Essential Tips and Tricks – The Rogue Prince of Persia Guide

Don't focus too much on damage numbers

When you encounter a weapon in The Rogue Prince of Persia, you will see a damage number that corresponds to it. With melee weapons, this will be a DPS number, while your ranged weapon will display a number that represents damage each time it is used. When these numbers are significantly higher than your current equipment, it makes sense to consider changing weapons.

However, it is important to consider all figures in context. For example, if you have a choice between Double Daggers with 100 DPS or a Broadsword with 115 DPS, it is important to know that the Broadsword will swing slower. Do you prefer to attack faster? If so, it might be worth getting the dual daggers you're comfortable with (although it's worth experimenting with each weapon type a few times to find the one that suits you the best).

This is even more true for ranged weapons. The Chakram's damage will almost always be lower than that of a bow, but the Chakram can hit multiple enemies. Experiment with each weapon to find out what compromises you can handle!

Always keep moving!

The Rogue Prince of Persia features a parkour system with many moving parts. From running on walls to jumping on enemies, the game's movement system has many pieces. For this reason, you should do your best to always be on the move! This will make it easier to dodge enemy attacks, especially ranged ones that can explode and damage an entire area. Jump over and kick enemies, run along the background and wall jump in battle to keep the Huns on their toes!
