Emotional Alex Jones gives update on Michael Mosley as she tells One Show viewers 'our friend is missing'

The One Show's Alex Jones has made a heartbreaking statement about Dr Michael Mosley, who is currently missing after disappearing while on a walk on the Greek island of Symi.

The BBC program opened with a photo of the TV diet guru, who has made regular appearances on the show as well as This Morning and the series. Believe me, I'm a doctor.

Alex told viewers: “As you've heard on the news, many of us are concerned to hear that our friend Michael Mosley has gone missing while on holiday in Greece.

“Our thoughts are with his wife Clare and the rest of his family at this worrying time.” She added: “We are hoping for more positive news. »

The search for famous TV doctor Michael Mosley resumes today after he disappeared on Wednesday afternoon during a coastal walk in the town of Symi.

The island's mayor, Eleftherios Papakalodoukas, said he thought it was likely Mr Mosley had “gone another way” or fallen into the sea.

In a downbeat update, he told the BBC: “It's a very small controlled area, full of people, so if anything happened to him there we would have found him by now.”
