A new lawsuit against Elon Musk was dropped on Wednesday, accusing the CEO of sexual harassment and retaliation by eight former SpaceX engineers.

There are also claims against the CEO for alleged illegal termination against the same ex-employees of the company, with both suits alleging his workplace behavior.

It is known that the tech CEO is currently facing various lawsuits from Tesla shareholders, including the recent X fiasco in Australia.

Elon Musk faces sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit

The tech CEO and billionaire now faces a lawsuit from former SpaceX engineers for alleged sexual harassment and retaliation, recently filed in California state court, according to the Bloomberg report. This included sexual photographs, memes and statements against women and the LGBTQ+ community, according to eight former SpaceX engineers who filed the complaint.

Additionally, other co-workers also joined in the demeaning comments that made them feel uncomfortable in the workplace, with some imitating Musk's posts on Twitter, aka X.

Former SpaceX engineers oppose Musk

According to Engadget, this same group of employees is also known to have filed complaints with the US National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) late last year.

Former SpaceX engineers also previously revealed that Musk's behavior was “problematic”, and the previous open letter they wrote was what led to them getting the axe, with the group believing it was retaliation to their appeal.

SpaceX is known to have already sued the NLRB in January, claiming it was “unconstitutional.”

Elon Musk's reviews

Musk is known for his many accomplishments in the tech world, but also for the scrutiny he has faced over the years regarding his many controversies and long-standing online activities. Recently, it is known that the billionaire was the subject of an investigation at X for allegedly “amplifying misinformation” on the social network, following the Fico shooting.

Plus, there was the court hearing on Tesla's top executive's long-disputed pay package, centering on his $56 billion reward for his work over the years. Tesla shareholders are known to oppose this massive payout to executives, and there has been significant movement on both sides as to why he should or should not receive this compensation.

Previous reviews also include the infamous “funding guaranteed” tweet from years ago regarding Tesla going private and significantly harming investors and shareholders.

Now the latest lawsuit filed by former SpaceX engineers directly shines a light on Musk's behavior toward his employees, with the group complaining of sexual harassment, retaliation and his firing.
