Elmira Heights Fire Company Car Show Will Return

ELMIRA HEIGHTS, N.Y. (WETM) — The Elmira Heights Fire Company is bringing back its car show for a third year on Sunday.

The East 14th Street business district will be lined with cars and vendors from noon to 5 p.m. June 9 for the car show. Although the forecast calls for rain in the morning, skies should be clear by the time the event begins. Firefighters are therefore currently planning that the event will go ahead as planned.

Everyone is welcome to show off their car during the show and can register until 3 p.m. during the event. Participants can save time by registering online, but in-person registration will be available. Sellers can also register online, and people wishing to donate to the fire department can do so on the same webpage. Vendors and people showing cars can set up one hour before the event starts.

Spectators can access the show and park for free. They will have the opportunity to have chicken barbecue for lunch at the Old Elmira Heights Fire Station and Historical Society, listen to live music performed by Bad Bear, shop from vendors locals and participate in 50/50 draws with prizes while admiring those of their neighbors. vintage cars and fire trucks.

This is a judged event and participants will have the chance to win placement prizes. Spectators must remain on site until the end of the event, when the show cars hold a exit parade.
