Elkhart man arrested on child pornography charges – 95.3 MNC

On June 12, 2024, detectives with the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force arrested an Elkhart County man on alleged charges of possession of pornography juvenile.

This investigation by the Indiana State Police ICAC Task Force began when a tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The information ultimately led to the service of a search warrant at a residence located in the 3100 block of Birch Drive in Elkhart, Indiana, by Indiana State Police.

As a result of the investigation, Joshua Grosenbacher, 28, was arrested on eight counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a Level 5 Felony, and two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a Level 6 Felony Grosenbacher was transported to the Elkhart County Jail.

The Indiana State Police oversees the ICAC Task Force, a multi-agency task force that investigates allegations of use of the Internet to sexually exploit or lure children.

The ICAC Task Force encourages Hoosiers to report crimes of online exploitation, solicitation, and enticement against children to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The NCMEC website can be accessed through the ICAC Working Group website.

Indiana State Police were assisted by the Elkhart County Prosecutor's Office, Elkhart Police Department, Lagrange Police Department, U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations and Patrol border of the United States.
