Authorities are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred Friday evening, leaving one person seriously injured.The incident occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. in the area of ​​600 Fulton Street.

Upon arrival, Elizabeth police found an unidentified individual suffering from a stab wound to the head.

The victim was transported to University Hospital in Newark for treatment.

No arrests have been reported at this time and the victim's immediate condition has not been released.
