Elderly woman stabbed to death in South Pasadena home identified

A 75-year-old woman who was fatally stabbed in a South Pasadena home was identified Friday.

The stabbing was reported around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday at 820 Brent Ave., near Mission Street. Officers with the South Pasadena Police Department went to the house and found it, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Deputy Tracy Koerner told City News Service.

Susan Miller was pronounced dead at the scene from apparent injuries to her upper body, the department reported. It was unclear if Miller lived at the home. His city of residence has not been disclosed.
