To help you find the right weapon to play Elden Ring, we have prepared this list with the best dexterity weapons which you can search for at different times during your game.

Best Dexterity Weapons in Elden Ring

Among the long list of dexterity weapons, you'll find a good variety of katanas, twin blades, spears, and rapiers. They don't all work for the same build, but by learning their strengths you can get a good idea of the type of playstyle they offer.

The weapons listed here are the best you'll find at three different points in your journey to the Lands Between. We also took into account the difficulty of obtaining these weapons to make the list.

Uchigatana

This is an entry-level katana that deals 115 physical damage, scaling based on dexterity and strength. Additionally, this weapon adds accumulated hemorrhage to the target. With an initial value of 45 Bleed, it takes very few hits to trigger the effect on normal enemies. For early bosses, like Margit, it takes seven to eight hits for her to lose a good portion of her health bar to blood loss.

Another positive aspect of this katana is that it is quite easy to obtain one. You can start the game with by choosing samurai as your initial class. But if not, don't worry. It is possible to find one in the Catacombs touched by death. This location is in Stormhill, Limgrave, which means you can visit it in the early hours of the game.

Rogier's rapier

Allowing you to quickly strike enemies for piercing damage while keeping your distance from enemies, Rogier's Rapier is an extraordinary dexterity weapon in the early stages of the game. It only requires 8 Strength and 17 Dexterity, based on these two stats. Although it doesn't apply any harmful effects, Rogier's Rapier has a double-thrust attack and you can infuse it with Ashes of War. Plus you get a +8 version of it.

You can obtain Rogier's Rapier right after defeating Godrick the Grafted, the final boss of the first Legacy dungeon you can explore, Stormveil Castle. You must first speak to The wizard Rogier in a first room of the castle. After defeating the boss, visit the Round Table and talk to Rogier again. Choose the “I defeated Godrick” dialog option to receive the weapon.

Bloodhound Fang

If you are still exploring Limgrave and have enjoyed your time playing with the Uchigatana, Bloodhound's Fang is a good upgrade for you. What this greatsword lacks in agility, it has in raw power. It deals 141 physical damage and 55 bleeds, but you need 18 strength and 17 dexterity to use it properly.

In addition to the ability to trigger the Bleed effect more quickly, the Hound's Fang has the Hound's Finesse skill. With this ability, you not only deal good damage, but also reposition yourself away from enemies. To obtain this weapon, you must defeat the Bloodhound Knight Darriwil, an optional boss found in the Desperate dog Evergaol

God Skin Peeler

Once you progress a little further in the game, a great weapon to look for is the Godskin Peeler. This twin blade has huge potential, especially if you start practicing using jumping attacks and imbuing it with a good Ash of War, like Blood Blade Or Seppuku. To use it, you need at least 17 Strength and 22 Dexterity.

The Godskin Peeler is a good weapon that you can use until the end of the game. You can only acquire this weapon once you have access to the Altus Plateau region. In the northern part of this area you can find a village where you meet the Apostle Godskin. Defeat them and their weapon will become yours.

Moon Veil

While exploring the lands east of Limgrave, you eventually find Caelid, a hostile region where dangerous enemies are ready to fight you. But this is also where you can find the Moonveil, a powerful katana which, due to its characteristic movement, Transient Moonlight, you can hit enemies from a distance by firing a projectile of light. In addition to the special move, its passive causes 50 Bleeds per hit. This weapon requires 12 Strength, 18 Dexterity and 23 Intelligence.

To get this weapon, you must first face the corridors of betrayal in Gael Tunnel. Located west of Caelid, this dungeon is the lair of the Magma Wyrm, an optional boss that, if you defeat it, drops the Moonveil katana.

Eleonora's Poleblade

While you are still in the middle of the game, another good weapon you can find is Eleonora's Poleblade. This is a twinblade that works great if you're planning a Bleed build. In addition to the passive which adds 55 Bleed per hit, Eleonora's Poleblade has the Bloodblade Dance skill. By using it, you trigger a sequence of attacks that trigger a fairly rapid loss of blood.

Eleonora's double blade Poleblade falls from Eleonora, purple bloody finger, an invader NPC you meet at Marika's second church. Although you can reach the locations if you already have access to the Altus Plateau, following Bloody Finger Yura's quest leads you to the same location as part of the missions.

Rivers of Blood

By entering the endgame areas of Elden Ring, you not only face stronger enemies, but you can also acquire better pieces of equipment. Rivers of Blood is one of the best dexterity weapons you can get late in the game. With a passive that builds Bleed, this katana is another great option for the Bleed build. The Corpse Pier skill gives Rivers of Blood a higher range than your regular slashing weapon.

Another positive aspect related to this weapon is that its acquisition is not difficult. Rivers of Blood is dropped by Okina, bloody finger, an invading NPC you meet at the Church of Rest atop Giants. Because you are close to a grace, dying in this fight is less boring and learning the fight is a quicker process.

Hand of Malenia

Now, if you're already about to face and defeat Malenia, the Blade of Miquella, then you have the chance to use one of the best dexterity weapons in the game – and one of the coolest too! At this point in the game, you probably have the 16 Strength and 48 Dexterity required by this weapon. Although it also has the passive to trigger blood loss like other katanas, the Hand of Malenia gives you access to the signature move of the Blade of Miquella. Waterfowl Dance.

To have the chance to challenge Malenia, which is an optional boss in Elden Ring, you must first have access to the Halig Tree area. To get there, you'll need to solve a puzzle in the Giant's Peaks, which means you won't be able to try to fight Malenia until later in the game.
