East York stabbing victim identified

Toronto police have identified the 37-year-old man who died Saturday after a stabbing in East York.

Police and paramedics were called to an apartment building near Woodbine Avenue and O'Connor Drive and found a man in danger around 4:45 p.m.

The victim, who died in hospital, was identified Sunday as Majid Abdulaziz of Toronto.

A suspect was arrested at the scene without incident, according to police.

He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Center on Sunday morning.
