East Cold Spring Lane shooting victim seeks treatment

On June 9, at approximately 11:15 a.m., North District patrol officers responded to an area hospital where a gunshot victim showed up without an appointment and was seeking treatment.

Upon arrival at the hospital, Baltimore Police Department officers spoke with a 44-year-old man who suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the hand. The victim has non-life-threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was in the 500 block of East Cold Spring Lane when he was shot.

Northern District detectives responded to the scene and took control of the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Northern District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2455.
