Drugs in Haifa: 15-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of trafficking dangerous drugs – Haifa

(Hai Fe) – Police arrested a 15-year-old boy in possession of a commercial quantity of substances suspected of being dangerous methamphetamine (crystal) drugs.

Police informed Lahi Pa – the news company: As part of the police's fight against crimes related to drug trafficking, with emphasis on the trafficking and distribution of drugs that poison the streets, on the weekend of 14/15 to 24/06, the police officers from the Zebulon police station carried out proactive activity to detect and thwart these crimes.

During the operation, Zebulon police officers discovered a 15-year-old minor in Kiryat Yam in possession of a substance suspected of being a dangerous drug, in quantities not intended for personal consumption. Officers later searched his apartment and seized a commercial quantity of a dangerous drug suspected to be methamphetamine, which was believed to be intended for the drug trade and distribution.

Meanwhile, police detained the boy, a resident of Kiryat Yam, for questioning at the Zebulon police station, after which he was imprisoned.

In accordance with the needs of the investigation and its findings, the court granted the police's request and extended the detention of the suspect until 17.6.24.
