Drug dealer convicted after police find details of crimes in notebook

A Milton Keynes man has been given a suspended sentence after police found 5,965 grams of cannabis as well as drug dealing tapes at his Buckinghamshire home.

Kie Lalande, 29, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs with intent to supply at Aylesbury Crown Court on Tuesday June 4.

He was sentenced to 14 months in prison, suspended for two years, 250 hours of unpaid work and 20 days of compulsory rehabilitation activities.

A suspended sentence means Lalande will not be incarcerated if he commits no further offenses and complies with court requirements.

The 29-year-old, who lives at Candlewicks in Walnut Tree, was found in possession of 5,965g of cannabis and a quantity of cash during a police search on January 18.

Other drugs, as well as several cell phones and a notebook containing the names and amounts of past transactions, were also found at his home.

Drugs, cell phones and other paraphernalia were confiscated and destroyed.

Investigating officer Chloe Ross, based at Milton Keynes Police Station, said: “The supply of drugs in Milton Keynes is taken seriously, we will do all we can to prosecute, arrest and convict those involved.

“They are targeting vulnerable members of the community and we will stop at nothing to ensure their criminality stops.
