Driver sentenced in 'road rage' shooting on I-75 – The Oakland Press

A Mount Morris man jailed in Oakland County for more than three months for a road rage incident was scheduled to be released Thursday after his sentencing hearing before Judge Martha Anderson.

Thomas Trim, 24, was sentenced to 105 days in jail with credit for 105 days served for felonious assault and discharging a weapon from a vehicle in the Feb. 22 incident on I-75 near Grange Hall Road in Groveland Township. Trim, who has been jailed since Feb. 23, pleaded guilty to the charges in April.

Anderson also sentenced him to two years of probation.

Police say the victim said a motorist – later identified as Trim – drove aggressively, driving onto the shoulder, then tried to force her off the road before pointing a gun at her.
