Driver identified in fatal Colorado Springs motorcycle crash | Traffic

Colorado Springs police have identified the person who died in a motorcycle crash earlier this month.

Christopher George Morris, 44, was killed near Milton E. Proby Parkway and South Academy Boulevard on May 14 after failing to turn onto the South Academy exit ramp and hitting a guardrail, according to a press release from Colorado. Springs Police Department.

The press release states that speed was “a factor” in the crash.

Morris' death is the 19th traffic fatality in Colorado Springs in 2024, according to the release, the same number as this time last year.
