Douglas County Sheriff's Office Dog Assists in $500,000 Drug Seizures

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Douglas County Sheriff's Office seized more than $500,000 in drugs during two traffic stops over the past week.

The K-9 unit stopped two vehicles along Interstate 80.

Deputies said they saw criminal activity during both stops, which allowed them to search the cars.

They seized a total of 434 pounds of marijuana, 31 pounds of mushrooms, 13 pounds of methamphetamine and a loaded handgun.

Patrick Price, originally from Oregon, was booked into the Douglas County Jail on suspicion of possession with intent to deliver marijuana and controlled substances.

Julian Santiago of New York and Alvaro Agorio of California were both arrested on suspicion of firearms and possession with intent to deliver controlled substances.
