Door stabbing causes SWAT standoff in South Bay

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A SWAT standoff is underway Wednesday at an apartment in the Nestor neighborhood, police said.

Authorities received a call around 6:53 p.m. about a person stabbing their neighbor's door in the 1100 block of Nestor Way, San Diego police told FOX 5/KUSI.

The suspect then left the scene and returned to his apartment, according to law enforcement. She is currently being held in her apartment.

No one appeared to be injured, the victim told police.
