Don't forget to sign your teen up for a free safety course

NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — Registration for the Vision Zero Driving Skills for Success (DSFS) program in Minot is closing soon.

DSFS is an interactive driving program designed to provide teens ages 14-18 with hands-on driving experience.


According to a press release, June 14 is the last day for Minot parents to register their children, but Bismarck parents still have some time, as registration ends July 26.

The Minot event will be held June 19 at Minot State University and will be held in Bismarck on July 30 at the Bismarck VFW Sports Center. The course has sessions from 9 a.m. to noon or from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Alive at 24 defensive driving course is also available, but is limited to the first 25 of each session and runs from 8 a.m. at noon or from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

You can register here for free. Parents will receive a confirmation email from the North Dakota Department of Transportation prior to the event.
