Disgusting new details of alleged rape of 13-year-old girl by migrant in New York park

The Ecuadorian who raped a 13-year-old girl at knifepoint in a Queens park told police after his arrest that he began recording the assault midway while he became more “comfortable” attacking the victim, according to prosecutors.

Christian Inga, 25, was arraigned Wednesday on charges of rape, predatory sexual assault and robbery for Thursday's attack in Flushing's Kissena Corridor Park.

The hearing came after a five-day citywide manhunt that ended early Tuesday when a group of good Samaritans spotted Inga outside a deli near Waldorn and 108th Street. in Corona – about 3 miles from the park.

Determined residents monitored the grocery store all day after recognizing Inga in a sought-after photo released by police and identifying him as a regular at the store.

When Inga returned to the grocery store around 1:30 a.m., neighbors attacked him, tying his legs with a belt until police arrived and arrested him.

After his arrest, he told police he had a drug problem and spotted the victim and her 13-year-old classmate “having sex,” according to prosecutors. Cops previously told reporters that their classmates had just finished playing soccer when Inga approached them.

“I had a knife that I found in the park,” Inga told police, according to prosecutors. “They gave in because I showed them the knife. I approached them and told them to be quiet.

The man led the teens off the beaten path and into a grove of trees, where he tied them together with a shoelace and “put a bandana in the girl's mouth and another piece of cloth in the boy's mouth.” boy,” prosecutors said.

Inga then used the same knife he had threatened the children with to cut the girl's clothes.

“I was nervous at first, then I got comfortable and recorded,” he told cops, according to prosecutors.

After raping the girl, Inga stole their phones from both teenagers and fled. The victims immediately sought help at a nearby school, where teachers called the police.

The children provided an NYPD sketch artist with incredible details about the attacker, including intricate tattoo details that played a crucial role in the investigation, a detective told the Daily News on Tuesday.

“It’s unbelievable based on what they went through, their identification, their memory of the tattoo, the braces,” Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said Wednesday. “It was all relevant.”

Inga, who entered the United States via Eagle Pass, Texas, with a 3-year-old child in June 2021, was staying in a single room in a basement in Queens, police said.

After crossing the U.S. border, he lost his immigration status and had to return to Ecuador, but he never did. There is currently a warrant for his arrest by immigration authorities.

He has an ex-wife and two children, according to prosecutors.

Following her arraignment Wednesday, Inga was held without bail. He faces life in prison if convicted, authorities said.
