Discover the new luxurious retreat near the Athens riviera

Luxury tent with private pool: On June 15, just before the influx of Israeli tourists to the Greek islands, a particularly luxurious glamping site called 91 Athens Riviera will open by the sea. It is the second such glamping site to launch this year, following the opening of Domes Novos on the island of Santorini last month.

Each of the 28 tents (although calling these luxurious accommodations “tents” seems modest) includes a super king-size bed and an outdoor wooden deck with a private pool or lush garden. The beach is a short walk from the glamping tents.

Introductory prices for rapidsAnd the prices? The most basic tents (with garden but no swimming pool) start at €447 per night for two adults. If you want to have your own private pool, prices start at €514 per night. A family lodge (four plus a baby) with plunge pool starts at €604 per night. It's even cheaper than a night in some luxury hotels in Eilat.

However, these are introductory prices and are expected to increase in the coming days. During the launch period, guests will receive a bottle of wine, fruit basket and more in their tent. The site also has a beachfront restaurant called Barbarossa, serving Mediterranean dishes with Asian influences. Additionally, by the pool you can order and enjoy cocktails and dishes from the restaurant's cuisine.

Additionally, the site is home to a spa called Soma, offering a sauna, steam room, treatment rooms, sunrise yoga, sunset Pilates, and gyms with personal trainers. There are also tennis courts with personal instructors.

Athens in 25 minutesAnother significant advantage of the site is its proximity to many Athens attractions. For example, the famous Acropolis, the view from Lycabettus Hill (accessible by cable car) and of course, the beautiful areas of the city, offering many bars and restaurants. It should be noted that the Athens Riviera district is just 25 minutes by metro from the city center.

The SUN reports that by 2026, the luxury Ellinikon resort is expected to open in Athens, with comparisons being drawn to the scale and opulence of Dubai's resorts. The project costs around 8 billion euros. This ambitious complex will be built on the site of a former major airport and will include hotels, shopping centers, a large park, restaurants and a marina.
