Diddy Denies 'Baseless' Sex Trafficking Accusations in New Lawsuit, 'Confident' of Legal Victory

Diddy's legal team has denied the latest allegations made by a woman in a new lawsuit accusing him of enticing her into sex trafficking.

Former adult film star Adria English, aka Omunique, is the latest in a long line of women to sue the disgraced mogul, claiming he forced her to have sex with guests at his parties in the 2000s.

On Thursday, July 4, Diddy's attorney Jonathan Davis continued to maintain his client's innocence. Davis said that despite the mounting lawsuits, Diddy was “confident” he would win the cases.

“No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it will not change the fact that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone,” Davis said in a statement. “We live in a world where anyone can sue for any reason and with no evidence.”

“Fortunately, there is a fair and impartial judicial process to uncover the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident that he will prevail in court against these and other baseless allegations.”

Meanwhile, it was reported Thursday that Diddy is the subject of a criminal investigation in New York. A federal grand jury in the Southern District of New York is hearing testimony as part of an ongoing investigation. A source confirmed that Diddy and his legal team were formally notified of the grand jury convening last week.

According to NBC News, there is no indication that charges are imminent.
