Dickinson police continue to search for missing man Keith Schmidt – The Dickinson Press

DICKINSON — The Dickinson Police Department announced in a news release today that it is continuing its investigation into the disappearance of 53-year-old Keith Schmidt. Schmidt was last seen in Dickinson on May 20, and family and friends reported his absence to police on May 29.

Searches of his home and family farm revealed no signs of foul play or clues to his whereabouts.

Investigators searched his neighborhood and scanned residents' video surveillance. They also investigated local businesses that Schmidt regularly visited, but no leads have materialized since his disappearance.

Other avenues, including social media posts, were also pursued, but no significant gains were made.

Keith Schmidt is 5'09″, 140 pounds, with long brown hair and green eyes. Authorities are asking anyone with information that could lead to his whereabouts to come forward.

The Dickinson Police Department is working with the Schmidt family and state law enforcement is assisting in locating Schmidt.
