Detroit teen among accusers in sexual assault case against Sean Combs

Legal issues continue to mount against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, with CNN reporting that federal investigators are preparing to bring the accusers before a federal grand jury.

Since November 2023, eight civil lawsuits have been filed against Combs, seven of them accusing him of sexual assault.

One of those cases was filed in December 2023 on behalf of a woman with ties to Michigan, referred to only as Jane Doe.

Jane Doe was 17 at the time and lived in Metro Detroit.

The criminal complaint, accompanied by a disclaimer, alleges that Jane Doe met Harve Pierre, longtime president of Bad Boy Entertainment, at a Detroit-area salon in 2003.

Pierre allegedly told Jane Doe that he was Combs' “best friend” and called him on the phone.

She alleges that Combs, who was 34 at the time, convinced her to board a private jet with Pierre and another man to fly to his studio in New York.

The plane landed in New Jersey, where SUVs awaited their arrival. She and three other men were taken to his recording studio. While she was there, she says she was given drugs and alcohol.

A statement from a complaint says:

“As the night progressed, Ms. Doe, aged 17, became increasingly intoxicated, to the point where she ultimately could not consent to having sex with anyone, and even less so with someone twice my age.”

The complaint goes on to say that Diddy and two other men assaulted Jane Doe. Afterward, she says she was helped into a car, driven to an airport and taken back to Michigan.

Since his lawsuit and several other lawsuits were filed, Diddy's homes in Los Angeles and Miami have been raided by federal agents.

At the time, sources told NBC News that weapons were found and his phones were seized as part of a federal investigation.

Sources familiar with the matter also say at least four people have been questioned over allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault and other criminal activity. Combs has denied all allegations.
