Destiny 2 “Final Form” Raid Start Time, Builds, Weapons, and Armor Prohibited

Destiny 2 launches what is probably the biggest raid in gaming history today, Salvation's Edge, and its most high-profile raid race. It is a key part of the finale of the Light and Darkness saga, and once defeated, it will unlock The Final Shape's final campaign mission for all players.

But there are some details you need to know about it, so let's get to it, including the launch time and what you can't use during the raid.

• Salvation's Edge Raid Release Time: 10 a.m. PT, 1 p.m. ETdaily reset time (we've seen serious server issues during raid launches before, and Final Shape had a lot of them at launch, so hopefully we'll avoid that).
• The Relentless Strikes sword weapon perk is disabled. (Landing three light attacks in a short time gives the sword ammo)
• Cascade Point weapon perk is disabled (Final hits or sustained precision hits with another weapon increase the rate of fire of that weapon for a short duration)
• Magnificent Howl perk is disabled (The number of precision final blows before reloading affects the total number of rounds granted with increased range and damage. Precision final blows with Magnificent Howl active extend the effect for additional turns)

• Hunter Ascension aspect is disabled (While flying, use your class ability to deal damage and shake nearby enemies. Boosts nearby allies)
• The Facet of Command Prismatic Hunter fragment is disabled. (Freezing or removing a target recharges your equipped weapons and increases weapon stability, aim assist and aerial efficiency)
• Hunter Exotic Lucky Pants are disabled (When you prepare a fully charged hand cannon that deals kinetic damage or a damage type matching your equipped Super, each shot from that hand cannon increases the damage of the next shot for a short time against a target)
• Weapons will not complete bounties or provide crafting progress while raiding in competition mode, which is apparently a server thing.

As for the final mission unlocked after the raid, we don't know some details. Namely, whether it will be unlocked A) after the World Premiere ends, B) after the competition mode ends after 48 hours or C) during the weekly reset. I think it will probably be A or B, so stay ready today or I guess Sunday, depending. We know that this last activity can be replayed, and we will use it to farm new exotic class items (so no one will have them before the raid launches).
