Destiny 2 Axial Lacuna God Roll – PvP and PvE

The Axial Lacuna is a new fusion rifle that was introduced to Destiny 2 in The Final Shape. This precision frame comes standard with 80 Impact and 60 Range, with a reload time of less than 2.5 seconds. Overall, not a bad body to build the right benefits on.

This is a Solar Fusion, so keep that in mind and play it with the appropriate pushes to get the most out of it. You can also gather red borders and then craft them in the Enclave on Mars.

The pool of potential benefits

  • Advantage 1: Firmly Implanted, Threat Detector, Rebuild, Stay Away, Cornered, Demolisher, Eye of the Storm.
  • Perk 2: Incandescence, controlled burst, start, surround, frenzy, vorpal weapon, desperate measures
  • Original Trait: – Dealer's Choice – Dealer's Choice – Final hits with this weapon grant a small amount of super energy. Equipping multiple weapons with the Pale Heart increases this effect.

Axial Gap PvE God Roll

  • Barrel – Fluted
  • Battery – Ionized battery
  • Advantage 1 – Reconstruction – This weapon slowly recharges over time, until it doubles its capacity.
  • Advantage 2 – Controlled Burst – Successfully landing each burst shot grants this weapon increased damage and reduced charge time for a short duration / Surrounded – This weapon gains additional damage when three or more enemies are nearby.
  • Masterpiece – Loading time

With fusion rifles, you want to be able to take them apart, use them, and then put them away without thinking about it at all. Reconstruction will kindly take care of it, giving you a full recharge and more by the time you get back to it. Controlled Burst is the next perk I would usually use, good aim will give you a nice boost to damage and charge time, and you will likely use it at ranges that land all shots on the big target it calls quite easily.

Surrounded It can be good, but it's quite situational. If you are fighting a boss that spawns a lot of adds that you plan to ignore, then they can be used to give you the appropriate buff.

Axial gap in PvP

So, to be honest, I think Axial Lacuna doesn't really have a God Roll for PvP. If we take God Roll to mean “excellent at activity”, then it simply lacks the right archetype and perk pool. If you really want to use it, max out the range and go for it, but it doesn't really have the upside to compete with good PvP fusion rifles.
