Des Moines police: 2 injured in stabbing incident on June 13

DES MOINES, Iowa — Two people were injured in a stabbing Thursday evening, Des Moines police reported on X.

The attack happened on 21st Street in Des Moines. Both victims were transported to a local hospital.

“It appears that everyone involved is represented [and] there is no permanent danger to the neighborhood,” police said on X.

Police presence will be increased in the area as investigations continue.
