Des Moines Police: 19-year-old injured in June 11 stabbing

The incident happened between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Oakridge neighborhood apartments. One victim was transported to a local hospital after being stabbed.

Sgt. Paul Parizek told Local 5 a suspect has been arrested, but no charges have been filed at this time.

In an article on X, police said they believed there was no ongoing danger to the public.

Detectives continue to investigate this incident.
