Decomposing body identified as missing man

A decomposing body found near the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) campus off Brechin Castle Road, California, on Thursday afternoon has been identified as that of missing man Randy Basdeo.

Basdeo, who gained notoriety on the popular video-sharing app TikTok, was reported missing almost a week ago.

The Hunter Search and Rescue Team (HSRT) led by Captain Vallence Rambharat said the body was found yesterday afternoon as the Anti-Kidnapping Unit's search continued to locate Basdeo.

Relatives of the missing man confirmed his identity.

HSRT offered its condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.
