Deadly Nye County suspect in custody

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Nye County Sheriff's Office has identified the suspect in a fatal afternoon stabbing and is currently searching for the man.

According to an NCSO social media post, a victim was pronounced dead following a stabbing in Petrack Park around 4:45 p.m. The office said the suspect is Taylor Peck, a man in his 20s , approximately 5'10″ tall and 195 pounds.

In a photo taken at the scene, Peck was wearing a white, short-sleeved button-down shirt and denim shorts. The sheriff's office said the suspect was considered armed and dangerous.

UPDATE: The Nye County Sheriff's Office updated its post Wednesday evening to say the suspect is in custody.
