DC police search for suspect in broad daylight stabbing incident

WASHINGTON DC — The DC Metro Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect involved in a stabbing incident in the Northeast. The attack happened around 12:51 a.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of 45th Street.

Sixth District officers found an adult male suffering from a stab wound. He was quickly taken to hospital with his injuries not life-threatening.

The suspect, captured on surveillance footage, is still on the run.

Police released images and surveillance video of the suspect, available here. They are urging anyone with information to contact them at (202) 727-9099 or via the TEXT TIP LINE to 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the author.
