Dancehall artiste, another man charged over alleged lottery scam | News

The Organized Crime and Corruption Agency (MOCA) has arrested and charged dancehall artiste Tevin Parker, 29, better known as Big$en, and Rajae Stewart, 29, for their involvement suspected in lottery scams.

MOCA says Parker, who lives in Stony Hill, St Andrew, was arrested on Friday.

It says Parker was found with two associates at a residence where a detailed search revealed prospect lists, bank cards and other fraudulent lottery paraphernalia.

He was charged with possession of identity information and possession of access devices.

MOCA says its associates have been released pending further investigations.

Meanwhile, Stewart was apprehended on Wednesday after MOCA officers, alongside officers from the Jamaica Police Force's Specialized Operations Unit, visited a location at the Cedar Grove Estate in Portmore, St. Catherine , to execute an operation.

MOCA says that during a search of Stewart's premises, several items associated with lottery scams, including several technological devices used to defraud individuals overseas, were seized.

Stewart was subsequently charged with offenses under the Law Reform (Fraudulent Transactions) (Special Provisions) Act.
