Dallas teens can explore the city’s iconic cultural and recreational attractions – for free – during Parks and Recreation Month

For the fourth year in a row, Dallas teens can spend the month of July exploring the city’s popular attractions for free through the city’s Teen All Access Pass program. Dallas Park and Recreation is distributing 10,000 Teen All Access Passes with the support of popular Dallas venues. The pass gives one teen and three chaperones free admission to select Dallas museums, nature and botanical gardens, outdoor entertainment venues and recreational facilities.

“I am thrilled that our Parks and Recreation Department is once again offering the Teen All Access Pass, which has proven to be one of Dallas’ most popular summer initiatives year after year,” said Mayor Eric L. Johnson. “As part of the third annual Summer of Safety, Dallas teens can enjoy free access to top Dallas attractions all summer long with the Teen All Access Pass.”

The Dallas Parks and Recreation Department is making 10,000 passes available on a first-come, first-served basis only to Dallas residents ages 13 to 17. To obtain the passes, teens must register in person at a Dallas recreation center during regular business hours and show proof of Dallas residency. Pass details, center locations and a list of locations are available at DallasParks.org.

“It’s important that families have access to quality recreation programs, facilities, parks and other spaces that add meaning and value to their lives. With the help of many of our generous partner organizations, Dallas is providing a unique opportunity for young people to have unforgettable experiences and spend time this summer discovering new things to learn and do in the city,” said Arun Agarwal, Chair of the Dallas Park and Recreation Board. “This opportunity is supported by our Mayor, City Council, Parks Board and our generous and caring Pass partners.”

The Parks Department launched the Teen All Access Pass in 2021. That year, the department issued 7,066 passes that resulted in 14,279 free admissions.
