Crews worked to contain 50 acres of John Fire Sunday

Crews from the Contra Costa County Fire Department and Cal Fire were working Sunday to contain a grass fire that broke out in Pittsburg around 4:40 p.m.

The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to a fire at a building near John Henry Johnson Parkway that extended to the grass.
