Crews work to put out fire north of Phoenix

PHOENIX — Fire crews are working to contain a fire burning at two north Phoenix homes.

The fire broke out Thursday afternoon near 51st Avenue and Cactus Road.

Sky12 video shows the damage to both homes. It appears the fire spread from one house to another.

12News has reached out to the Phoenix Fire Department for more information.

The extent of the damage is not yet known, but both houses appear to be heavily damaged.
