Crash victim identified after two-vehicle collision near Prattville

Autauga County – A two-vehicle crash that occurred around 1:13 p.m. on Monday, May 27 claimed the life of a Prattville man. David R. Carr, 62, was fatally injured when the 2011 Honda FCS600A Silver Wing motorcycle he was riding was struck by a 2022 Freightliner tractor-trailer, driven by Cameron J. Jarman, 24, of Honoraville.

Carr was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Alabama 14 near the 148 mile marker, about three miles west of Prattville in Autauga County. Nothing further is available as troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
