Bobbie Sylvester, 43, was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Police said the man assaulted his girlfriend and damaged her property.

The man, whose identity has not been released, was charged with domestic violence and mischief under $5,000.

He was released from police custody and is due to appear in Cornwall Crown Court on July 16.

A 55-year-old Cornwall man is facing charges after police responded to a complaint on Sunday.

Police said the man had attacked someone he knew.

Christopher Fontaine, 55, was charged with assault.

He was released from police custody and will appear in Cornwall Crown Court on August 8.

A 32-year-old woman from St. Catharines, Ont., is facing two charges after police responded to a call Sunday.

Police said the woman damaged her mother's property and also threatened her.

The woman, whose identity has not been released, has been charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and mischief under $5,000.

She was released from police custody and will appear in Cornwall Crown Court on August 13.

A 40-year-old Cornwall man faces two charges after police responded to a complaint of a suspicious person on Friday.

Police said the man was attempting to throw a Molotov cocktail in an attempt to commit a criminal offence. He was located on Saturday and when he was arrested, officers said he was in possession of ammunition.

Oliver McTaggart, 40, has been charged with possession of incendiary material and careless use of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition.

He was released from police custody and will appear in Cornwall Crown Court on August 8.

Police said the woman was testing a Molotov cocktail with the intention of committing a criminal offence.

Carmela Licursi, 43, was charged with possession of incendiary material.

A 31-year-old Cornwall man faces three charges following a police investigation.

Police said the man was involved in a car collision on May 31 and fled the scene. Police also said the vehicle the man was driving was reported stolen. He was located by officers and taken into custody on Saturday.

Ryan Royer, 31, was charged with motor vehicle theft, failure to stop after an accident and violation of probation for breach of peace.

He was released from police custody and is due to appear in Cornwall Crown Court on July 30.

A 49-year-old man faces 32 charges following multiple police investigations.

Police alleged the man was operating a motor vehicle with his wife as a passenger on April 25, breaching various release orders regarding communication and contact with her. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On June 9, officers responding to a disturbance call alleged the man was breaching various release orders regarding communication and contact with his wife, as well as his own address, when they alleged the man was living with his wife. On June 9, officers responding to a separate matter alleged the man was breaching release orders and probation by being present at his wife's residence and living there. He was located by Ottawa police on Sunday and later transferred to the custody of Cornwall police.

The man, whose name has not been released, has been charged with driving while prohibited, 25 counts of breaching release orders for contacting and being with his wife, failing to live at a specified address and failing to notify police of a change of address, and six counts of breaching probation for contacting his wife and failing to keep the peace.

Police said the woman removed goods from the store without paying for them.

Isaura Skibinsky, 45, was charged with theft under $5,000.

She was released from police custody and will appear in Cornwall Crown Court on July 30.

Operation prohibited

A 46-year-old Cornwall man faces three charges following a police investigation.

Police said an officer saw the man driving a motor vehicle on Saturday, in breach of his motor vehicle driving ban.

Shane Bertrand, 46, was charged with two counts of driving while prohibited and breaching probation for breach of the peace.

He was remanded in custody pending a bail hearing at a Cornwall court.
