In the past hour, police say a 55-year-old man stabbed four counselors as they walked in a park on Monday. This suspect is in police custody. ABNER IS ON A PLANE RIGHT NOW AND WILL BE HOME TOMORROW. A Cornell College instructor who was stabbed in a random attack in China has been released from the hospital and is on his way home. David Zabner's brother tells KCCI that Zabner is on a plane Wednesday night and is expected to return home Thursday. Zabner was stabbed in the arm but is recovering well. Police say a 55-year-old man stabbed four instructors while they were walking in a park on Monday. The instructors were in China as part of a partnership with a Chinese university. Iowa leaders are working with the State Department to bring the rest of the victims home. DES MOINES, Iowa —

A Cornell College instructor who was stabbed in a random attack in China has been released from the hospital and is on his way home.

David Zabner's brother tells KCCI that Zabner is on a plane Wednesday night and is expected to return home Thursday. Zabner was stabbed in the arm but is recovering well.
