Contraflow lane reopens after semi-fire closes highway in Harrison Township

UPDATE at 5:47 a.m.:

The Contraflow lane on southbound I-75 is reopened, but the rest of the highway remains closed as crews continue to clean up after a tractor-trailer fire.

A Montgomery County regional dispatch sergeant confirmed tow trucks were on scene to remove what remained of the tractor-trailer.

While the contraflow lane is open, the remainder of the highway will be closed until further notice.

INITIAL REPORT:

A tractor-trailer fire shut down the highway in Harrison Township early Saturday morning.

At approximately 2:16 a.m., crews were dispatched to southbound I-75 near the Keats Drive off-ramp for reports of a crash.

Crews discovered a tractor-trailer had caught fire near Wagner Ford Road.

No one was in the tractor-trailer when it caught fire and no injuries were reported, according to a Montgomery County regional dispatch sergeant.

OHGO reports all lanes are closed on southbound I-75 at Neff Rd/Wagner Ford Rd due to a crash, while crews work.
