Concerns grow over disappearance of 14-year-old who may have traveled to Edinburgh

Officers are hoping to obtain information on the whereabouts of a missing 14-year-old boy who may have traveled to Edinburgh.

Tyler McCallum was last seen on June 19, 2024 in Aberdeen and is described as 5'8″, slim build with short black hair. Officers believe he may also be in Inverness.




It is not known what clothes he was wearing at the time of his disappearance. Police are appealing to anyone with information to get in touch.

Posting an appeal on social media, Scotland North East Police said: “We are appealing for the public's help in our efforts to locate Tyler McCallum (14) who has been reported missing.

“Tyler was last seen on June 19, 2024 in Aberdeen. It is believed he may have traveled to the Inverness or Edinburgh area.

“Tyler is described as 5'9” tall, slim and with short black hair. It is unclear what clothing he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.
