Columbia County Sheriff's Office identifies woman killed in hit-and-run | Crime

A post Friday on the sheriff's office Facebook page says Kayla Mcclenithan, 21, of rural Portage, was the passenger who died. According to a criminal complaint, suspect Keegin Neveln hit a tree and fled the scene. He was arrested Wednesday evening and appeared in court Thursday. His bond was set at $75,000. Neveln is charged with two felonies, including a hit-and-run causing death. Columbia County sheriff's officials said the preliminary investigation revealed alcohol and speed were contributing factors in the crash.



TOWN OF LEWISTON, Wis. (WKOW) — The Columbia County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the woman killed in a hit-and-run crash Sunday evening.

A post Friday on the sheriff's office Facebook page says Kayla Mcclenithan, 21, of rural Portage, was the passenger who died.

According to a criminal complaint, suspect Keegin Neveln hit a tree and fled the scene. He was arrested Wednesday evening and appeared in court Thursday. His bond was set at $75,000.
